Message	is bring in a rusted to hell and back exhaust system (doesn't even have to be for your model), explain to the judge that the OEM exhaust is NLA from your manufacturer, and say that you selected your current exhaust based on noise levels. It worked for me in Albuquerque, and we have an equally ridiculous law - any exhaust producing more noise than stock levels is illegal. Noise is not enumerated in a dB scale, nor is there a testing procedure involved. It's purely officer judgement, which means that rustangs and camaros get a pass on running open headers, but the slightest change on an import gets you pulled over. Hell, I run Borlas, which don't sound or look all that different from stock, and I still got pulled over. Your powers are useless! I'm wearing my tinfoil underwear!
